(Al-Haaqa) 69 : 11
إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَى الْمَاءُ حَمَلْنَاكُمْ فِي الْجَارِيَةِ
Indeed when the water overflowed beyond its limit, We carried you in an ark.
This verse reminds the event of saving Messenger Noah and the believers with him, and drowning the disbelievers completely in the flood. As explained in verse 36: 41, since the mankind in the world is the descendants of the believers saved in the laden ship with Messenger Noah, it is told in this verse that “We carried you in an ark’.
